Problem # 3: Tv has a funny finding menu, looks like an ad This unit is in what is called the "demo" mode. Feel the builder and if they are of no help, call us and we'll be happy to walk you through the process of getting rid of it.
Problem # 4: There's a black box blocking the picture We see this all the time. You Tv has been accidentally placed into the complete caption mode. To clear this problem, bring up the menu and turn the complete captions off.
Problem # 5: I can't view clear channels on my Tv This is normally a password or parental lock problem. If you have forgotten your password, you may be able to way the menu by using the facility default password that you'll find in your owner's manual. If this doesn't work, then you may have to Feel the builder for help.
Problem # 6: I don't have sound on some channels, spanish or the weather narrative on others This is other one we see a lot of. You unit is in the Sap or detach audio program mode. way the menu and set the audio to normal, standard, or stereo.
Problem # 7: My Tv just quit working This could well be a real problem, but maybe not. If you have cats or small dogs, do they hang out behind the Tv a lot? If so, check and see if they have damaged the power cord or pulled it just far adequate out of the wall to allow it to lose Feel with the wall outlet. If this is not the case, considered move the set out from the wall and smell the carpets and look at the back of the set for signs of wetness. If you find this, your pet is urinating into the set and has caused your unit to shut down. Unplug it and take it to the shop as soon as you can.
Problem # 8: No picture, all I get is snow The first thing to do here is to verify that all is hooked up properly, and that the signal source you want to watch hasn't been changed. If you find no question here, then you may have a cable box problem, or your satellite victualer is down. Feel your enterprise for details on any question you might be having and don't forget to log on to their website for current data if you can't get through by phone.
Problem # 9: My remote doesn't work verify this by checking to see if you can turn on the set with the panel mounted power button. If this works and the set operates normally, then all you may need to do is convert the batteries in the remote to restore operation.
Problem # 10: My Tv doesn't work right since my son/daughter started playing with it Kids seem to have a real understanding of electronic gear, and some of them (my son included) love to monkey colse to with the menus. Some of them will even add their own passwords and setup their own way codes. It's rare that they can do any real harm so make sure that they tell you what they've done so you'll be able to enjoy your own programs.

Router settings are accessed with a web browser. One of the most common issues router owners have is that they don't remember how to log into their router. Directions for accessing the router are often written on a emblem on the lowest or back of the router.

Depending on your router's settings you may have to join together to the router with an Ethernet cord to entrance the router's settings. To do this, securely join together the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the computer and the Ethernet port on the router.
Often when habitancy convert the default username and passwords on their router, they end up forgetting them. It's a good idea to take some masking tape and write your username and password on your router so you can undoubtedly find it. If you have forgotten your login data you will need to reset your router's settings.
To reset the router locate the reset button which is commonly a small hole on the rear of the unit. Use a paperclip to press the reset button and hold it down for 10 seconds. After you issue the button the router will reset.
If you have entrance to the network but not the internet check the status of the router's lights. Check to see if the internet light on the modem is indicating the accurate status. If it isn't, check that the internet modem has entrance to the internet and check to see if the network cable is securely attached to the Ethernet ports in the middle of the router and the modem.
If you cannot get internet entrance you'll need to manually set some of the router's settings. You may need to perceive your internet aid provider for these settings. If the status light on the router indicates that it has an internet connection, check any firewalls on your computer that may cause interference to/from the internet and make sure they're setup properly.

BUY HERE -- amzn.to I certainly understand why some people are upset that the APC ES-350 does not support Power Management software However, I would like to show that even without Power Management support it can be very useful as a battery back-up for your home entertainment system. I love my TiVo TCD652160 HD Digital Video Recorder so much so that I purchased a Western Digital My DVR Expander 1 TB eSATA Desktop External Hard Drive WDG1S10000VN (Black) to supplement the memory. Unfortunately, I live in an area that is prone to power outages and power "flickers". While I can not do much with the power outages the power flickers drive us crazy. Each time the power flickers out Tivo unit must completely reboot (which takes about 10 minutes) so not only do you miss the shows you are watching it also interrupts any recordings that are taking place. While the APC ES-350 does not help me with power outages (the battery back-up is only good for a minute or two) it does save the day when have a flicker. Now please note, I do not have my television hooked up to the back-up, so still see the the TV flicker but now I do not have to wait for the Tivo to reboot. Could I hook my TV to the APC 350... maybe although it would likely draw too much power to be of any use... for that you would want to consider a bigger battery back-up (such as APC BE550R 550VA Back-UPS ES 8-Outlet Battery Backup System but it even it may be too small). Other notes - 6 total outlets - 3 provide battery back-up ...

There are many separate methods to convert you movies to Dvd. One recipe is to use your Pc and the other is to use a stand alone Dvd recorder. The Pc offers unblemished operate over editing the footage and creating expert looking menus for the Dvd. In order to exchange movies with your Pc you will need a fairly excellent Pc with lots of harddrive space. Raw video footage can chew up to 13 Gigs per hour of video footage. Another recipe to exchange you home videos to Dvd is to use a stand alone Dvd recorder. A Dvd recorder looks very similar to the Dvd player in your home entertainment system. These allow you to edit the movies once they are recorded to the harddrives.
